From Katy, and 39 Clues to Babel and Katabasis, books have been my constant companions. I believe it was this love of reading that gave rise to a passion for writing.
Since I was a young child, I dreamed of being a published author, a dream I realised with the publication of my book, Ripples, in 2025.
There were some key milestones which made the journey of becoming a published author possible. One was awarded the Gold Award in the Royal Commonwealth Society Essay Writing Competition, 2020 and 2021. And the other was my being selected for the Scholastic Writers Academy 2022. The opportunity to be mentored by the Scholastic team was truly valuable, and seeing my short story published in the book "One Story at a Time" was truly incredible.
